Is Your Anti-perspirant Safe?

There has been a lot in the press recently about the possible links between the rise in breast cancer and using anti-antiperspirants and deodorants containing aluminium salts.

Over the past 25 years cases of breast cancer in Britain have doubled from about 20,000 a year in the last 1970's to almost 40,000 a year. That's an alarming statistic. The theory behind the link seems to be that the vast majority of anti-antiperspirants on the market contain chemicals such as zirconium and aluminium salts that are taken in through the hair shaft pores in the skin where they react with water and swell.

Perspiration releases toxins from the body and it was originally thought that blocking it could lead to a build up of toxins in the lymph nodes in the armpit. However recent research now suggests that aluminium and zirconium have been found to enter the cells and cause mutations of DNA that could lead to cancerous growth and may also disrupt hormone levels.

Whilst there seems to be that danger out there, why take the risk of using products containing aluminium salts?

What is the alternative?

Most leading brands today contain aluminium and zirconium based compounds and it's very hard to find a product without them. At Forever Living we can offer a safe but effective product that has eliminated these dangers in a state of the arm formulation.

Aloe Ever-Shield Deodorant Stick is a very gentle formula containing stabilised Aloe Vera Gel that provides effective all day protection against underarm odour and be applied directly after showering. Its gentle formulation and soothing Aloe Vera means it can also be applied after shaving or underarm waxing without stinging. It can also be used during chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment.

By using Aloe Ever-Shield Stick it protects you naturally without adding ingredients that could jeopardise your health in the process. Its makes sense. So use it!!
